If you are a StoreMoreHQ client and we process your customers’ order or delivery details to provide fulfilment, we act as your data processor for that customer data (see Section 4).
2. Personal data we collect
We may collect and process the following categories of personal data.
2.1 Data you provide to us
- Contact & enquiry data: name, work email, phone number, company name, website/store URL, business type, and enquiry content when you fill in forms, request a quote, subscribe, or contact sales/support.
- Account & service data (clients): billing contact details, contract information, and service preferences for storage, fulfilment, shipping, or returns management.
- Recruitment data (if applicable): CV, employment history, references, and interview notes if you apply for a role.
2.2 Data we collect automatically
- Device & usage data: IP address, approximate location, browser type, operating system, referral source, pages viewed, and interactions with the site.
- Cookie & analytics data: see Section 8.
2.3 Data we receive from third parties
- Platform & integration data: if you connect your eCommerce platform (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop) or marketplaces to StoreMoreHQ, we may receive data needed to provide fulfilment services.
- Carrier/warehouse updates: delivery confirmations, tracking events, and returns statuses from shipping partners.
3. How we use your data and lawful bases
We only use personal data when we have a lawful basis.

4. Client customer data (we act as Processor)
If you are a business client using StoreMoreHQ’s eCommerce fulfilment or storage services, you may send us personal data about your customers (for example: name, shipping address, email, phone number, order contents, or returns information). We process that data only to provide fulfilment, shipping, and returns services per your instructions.
You remain the controller of your customers’ data. Our responsibilities as processor are governed by our client agreement and applicable data protection law.
6. International transfers
We may transfer personal data outside the UK (e.g., to cloud providers or international shipping networks). When we do, we ensure appropriate safeguards such as UK GDPR adequacy decisions or approved contractual clauses (e.g., IDTA or standard contractual clauses).
7. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary:
- Enquiry/quote data: typically up to 24 months after last contact.
- Client/account data: for the contract term plus 6 years for legal/tax purposes.
- Client customer order data (processor): per client instructions and contract.
- Analytics/cookie data: per cookie lifespan (Section 8).
9. Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect data, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, monitoring, and staff training. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to prevent unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

Under UK GDPR, you may have the right to:
